Currently working in the Gambler\u2019s Help Program &#8211; which supports people with gambling addiction \u2013 Les has a keen interest in supporting people who need help to work through addiction and relationship issues.<\/p>\n<p>In counselling, there are principals most practitioners work by, for Les, one that\u2019s kept him in \u2018good stead\u2019 is to approach each session at \u2018the client\u2019s pace\u2019; ensuring clients leave his counselling room with \u2018confidence and a sense of moving forward\u2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u2028\u2028\u2028\u2028\u2028\u2028\u2028\u2028There\u2019s more than just one way of doing something, and I think that\u2019s my experience in life and counselling.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With over 30 years\u2019 experience, Les Whittle has brought great knowledge and perspective to RA Tas, however, most notable is his contribution of empathy, humour and passion; both in-and-out of the counselling room.
