Children’s Contact Service Playground

A much-needed upgrade to the New Town Children’s Contact Service (CCS) playground has children loving the new area, in particular the mini-golf set up.

The Playground, which was completed in June this year, came about as the grassed area was deteriorating and difficult to grow due to the continual use by children. There is now a turfed lawn to play on, with children also enjoying the new fairy garden.

A new fence means more privacy for families and there is also a barrier in place to stop wayward basket balls from going over the fence.
