Employee Assistance Program
Enhancing workplace well-being
RA Tas offers a suite of fee-for-service programs which includes the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), external counselling, sporting club well-being support and Personal Development and Professional Supervision.
In July 2022, the RA Tas Board approved the release of seed funding to restructure our fee-for-service programs, and as a result, these programs were merged into the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
The RA Tas EAP offers individual counselling, supervision, workplace mediation, trauma debriefing support, workplace well-being consulting and workplace training to over 70 Tasmanian businesses across Hobart, Launceston and Devonport. This program can be accessed in-person at our offices, by telephone and video, or at outreach locations upon request.

Another accomplishment involved creating a variety of marketing materials with a new branding identity, showcasing a logo and tagline, “People Matter”, which aligns with RA Tas’ core values.

During the first year, we successfully sustained and started to expand interest in our local services. Moving forward, our strategy involves implementing a targeted marketing campaign to support businesses to provide well-being and psychosocial support to their employees. We will also continue to develop and trial new fee for service initiatives.
