denim Day

Our staff took part in Denim Day which was held on 24th April with the aim of raising awareness and showing solidarity with survivors of sexual violence.

Denim Day is an international campaign where people wear denim to raise awareness about sexual violence and support survivors. It started in 1999 after an Italian court overturned a rape conviction, suggesting the victim’s tight jeans implied consent. The next day, women in the Italian Parliament wore jeans in solidarity, sparking a global movement.

The event was highly successful, with many staff wearing their best denim jeans, jackets, and accessories to make a strong statement against sexual violence.
