Organisation wellbeing Services

Over the past financial year, we launched an Organisation Wellbeing Service as an extension of our current Employee Assistance Program (EAP), with the goal of making Tasmania the best place to work in Australia.

The service offers a comprehensive range of options beyond the standard EAP, including Organisation Wellness Assessments, Self-Care Workshops, Mental Health First Aid, Team Dynamics, Conflict Resolution and Mediation, Counselling, Mindfulness Programs, and solutions for Psychological Safety and Wellbeing.

The service has been well received by the community with over 80 organisations currently accessing the new model.

We decided to broaden the scope of this service as the majority of business owners we spoke to emphasised the need for tailored wellbeing plans, policies, and support services that address their organisation’s unique needs and prioritise a culture of psychological safety and mental wellbeing at work.

The service has been well received by the community with over 80 organisations currently accessing the new model. As well as EAP counselling, our team provides routine external supervision services, tailored workplace trainings, and trauma-debriefing and support upon request. Our work has supported a range of local businesses to understand the importance of work-life balance, set realistic expectations for employees, provide the necessary resources and recognition an employee needs to thrive, implement flexible work arrangements where appropriate, and create a culture of open communication and responsibility to address any identified psychosocial hazards.

Looking ahead, our focus is on expanding the reach and impact of our Organisation Wellbeing Service. We aim to continue to tailor our offerings even more closely to the specific needs of Tasmanians, ensuring that each organisation receives personalised wellbeing plans and policies that promote a culture of psychological safety and enhance mental wellbeing in the workplace.

To achieve this, we are committed to leveraging our partnerships and insights gained from client feedback to continuously innovate and improve our services. By supporting more businesses in prioritising employee wellbeing, we will move closer to our goal of making Tasmania the best place to work in Australia.
