grief and loss Strategy
Supporting people through their experiences of grief and loss is currently an organisational priority.
We are extending our capacity to support more individuals as they navigate and adapt to grief and loss – at an individual level but also within families, communities, and workplaces. This included internal collaboration to develop and commit to strategies that role model and promote open and honest conversations about all forms of grief and loss, as well as educating the community about the diverse and individualised impact these experiences may have. This year, three specific initiatives have been developed to increase RA Tas’ capacity to respond to and work with clients in the grief and loss space. These include Death Over Dinner, the Bereavement Care Strategy and Grief and Loss Counselling Service.
